hmmmmm--- the colors!!

Simply beautiful! I love how the reds and pinks of the birds wings contrast against the cool blues and crisp whites in the clouds behind them. Wonderfully captured.

Hi Joseph: Thanks for the comment about the lions. Yeah-you can never spend enough time in the Crater. Like your flamingos image. Very different treatment of the subject.

I don't know what it is about birds in flight. In this case, the pink birds are a subtle contrast to the gray clouds. The light peeping through is a nice touch.
