Artist's Description
It's very difficult to get a clean shot of a lion in captivity. This young male concerned about protecting his pride at his Busch Gardens Tampa enclosure makes eye contact with my one big eye to make sure there is not threat. Before I got snubbed as an of no consequence, no story here, just another human, I was able to snap this one exposure. I thought this image would be a lot more interesting applying some digital tweaking.
