Description
A do not disturb sign was not needed here. We carefully approached this sleeping female to within 150 feet. Flash is useless at that distance. It was dusk and very difficult lighting because she was sleeping about 20 feet off the ground under a heavy canopy. To get a clear shot I had to make every one in the land rover freeze. I took the shot between heart beats. It was a 1 second exposure with a 400 mm lens mounted on bean bag. Worth the effort to get this photo in the wild.
